Record a sale
Capture the sale details and check any later collection separately.
Guide reviewed 14 September 2026 · Controls depend on your app version and access.
Before you begin
Use an available sales creation action and confirm the customer, products, quantities and applicable location.
01Choose the customer and products
Enter the sale flow from Actions or the supported app entry point. Confirm customer identity before adding line items.
02Review the transaction
Check quantities, units, prices, discounts and totals. Resolve any stock or policy warning before submitting.
03Save and inspect
Wait for confirmation and reopen the sale record. Check the assigned sale or invoice identifier rather than relying on a local preview.
04Record collection through its proper flow
If a payment also needs recording, use the supported collection flow and correct customer or allocation. Do not assume the sale automatically settled.
Check the result
The sale is saved once, with the intended lines, and the collection state is separately understood.
If something does not look right
If stock or credit rules block the transaction, ask the responsible office team to resolve the condition. Do not change the customer or quantity merely to bypass a restriction.
