Review sales, notes and documents
Read the transaction behind a sale and preserve the distinction between sale value and collection.
Guide reviewed 14 September 2026 · Controls depend on your app version and access.
Before you begin
Open Sales with the relevant viewing access. Editing, flagging, archiving and deletion are separately controlled.
01Open the exact sale
Use the invoice or sale identifier and confirm the customer. Review line items, quantities, totals and state.
02Check related payment information
Review the collection records associated with the transaction. An invoice and a payment are different records; an invoice being present does not establish settlement.
03Add context using supported actions
Use notes or flags to explain an issue where those actions are available. Keep factual context and avoid putting passwords or unrelated personal information in a note.
04Handle documents deliberately
Use the available document or attachment controls, then open the saved attachment to check that it belongs to this sale. An upload request alone is not proof that attachment processing completed.
Check the result
The sale, payment context and supporting documents refer to the same transaction.
If something does not look right
A delete or restore action may have a time window or dependency restrictions. Use the displayed reason rather than changing the record’s identity to get around the restriction.
