Read Trackboard, trails and halts
Review field activity with its timestamps and uncertainty visible.
Guide reviewed 14 September 2026 · Controls depend on your app version and access.
Before you begin
You need the relevant location, trail or halt-viewing permission, and the worker must have an authorised tracking setup.
01Choose a worker
Open Trackboard and select the intended person. Confirm the organisation, duty state and most recent location timestamp.
02Select the day
Choose the date for the trail. Inspect recorded points and available halt information rather than treating a line on a map as continuous proof of movement.
03Check freshness and accuracy
Read the sample time and available accuracy information. A last-known point can remain visible after a person disconnects or ends duty.
04Use live follow where available
Request the supported live-follow session for a worker when your access permits. An unavailable device or connection can prevent it; this is separate from a LiveLink call.
Check the result
You can distinguish a current update, a historical point and an inferred halt.
If something does not look right
Check duty, consent, location permissions, policy and connectivity if no trail appears. Do not infer misconduct from a missing point or noisy GPS sample.
